Slow-Cooked Beef Stew

Ingredients


  • 600g Falah Al Dar Premium Beef Cubes
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 potatoes, cubed
  • 3 cups beef stock or water
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method


  1. Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add Falah Al Dar Beef Cubes and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onion until translucent. Add tomato paste and cook for 2–3 minutes to develop flavor.
  3. Return beef to the pot. Add paprika, cumin, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Stir well to coat.
  4. Pour in the beef stock, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Simmer gently for 1.5 to 2 hours until beef is tender.
  5. Add carrots and potatoes, continue cooking for another 30 minutes or until vegetables are soft and stew is thickened.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with bread or rice.
