Slow-Cooked Beef Stew

Ingredients
- 600g Falah Al Dar Premium Beef Cubes
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, cubed
- 3 cups beef stock or water
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Method
- Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add Falah Al Dar Beef Cubes and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté onion until translucent. Add tomato paste and cook for 2–3 minutes to develop flavor.
- Return beef to the pot. Add paprika, cumin, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Stir well to coat.
- Pour in the beef stock, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Simmer gently for 1.5 to 2 hours until beef is tender.
- Add carrots and potatoes, continue cooking for another 30 minutes or until vegetables are soft and stew is thickened.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with bread or rice.
